1. SEED Travel Support (for SEED Participants only)
Hotel accommodation
The KSEA will reserve a shared room for two matching participants. You don’t have to reserve your room since we will reserve yours for you. If you wish to share a room with a specific participant, please let us know by sending us an email at seed@ksea.org .
If you wish not to share and use a room by yourself, please reserve a room yourself and request reimbursement after the workshop. We will support 50% of your hotel room charge, and you will be responsible for covering the remaining 50%. KSEA will release a designated travel reimbursement form after the workshop.
The max reimbursement amount is equal to half (50%) of the group rate although they stayed in the hotel (from $149/per night plus tax and service charge).
Lodging support cannot be replaced with other benefits
Transportation support
Travel support is available to you as a SEED participant under the condition of holding an active KSEA membership and your full participation in the two-day event.
Reimbursement for travel expenses is up to $200, based on the one-way Google map distance from your home address to the SEED 2026 venue, as shown in the table below.
Reimbursement for driving a personal vehicle is calculated at $0.50 per mile one-way, up to the maximum amount indicated in the table below.
Meals
Lunch/dinner on Tuesday (August 4, 2026) and breakfast/lunch on Wednesday (August 5, 2026)
For local participants and those who do not require a hotel room, we can provide up to $30 per day to cover parking expenses.
This benefit cannot be combined with transportation support.
