SCIENTISTS AND ENGINEERS EARLY CAREER DEVELOPMENT (SEED) WORKSHOP 2024

August 20 – 21, 2024 @ Hyatt Regency SFO, San Francisco CA

The 2024 Scientists and Engineers Early Career Development (SEED) workshop will be held on August 20th (afternoon) – 21st (afternoon), 2024 in Hyatt Regency SFO, San Francisco, CA prior to the UKC 2024.  Since 2013, the SEED workshop has been offered by the KSEA to foster and mentor the career development of junior KSEA members, including Ph.D. students, postdoctoral researchers, and early-career professionals.

About 70 participants (including Ph.D. students, postdocs, junior faculty, and early-career professionals in national labs & industry) will attend the SEED 2024 and about 15 mid-career and senior professionals will join as mentors. The program will provide opportunities to discuss career development and emerging topics in the fields and cultivate the development of mentoring relationships among participants.
