Dr. Michael Cho is a molecular virologist. He received B.A. in Biology and Chemistry from Whitman College in 1987, and Ph.D. in Cellular, Viral and Molecular Biology from University of Utah in 1994. He worked as a post-doctoral Research Fellow and a Staff Scientist at the National Institutes of Health. He was a faculty member at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. He currently is a Professor of Biomedical Sciences at Iowa State University. Dr. Cho’s research focuses on development of vaccines against HIV-1 and influenza virus. Dr. Cho currently serves as a regular member of an NIH study section.
